Saturday English Academyってどんなことしてるの？★中間報告Part.4★
7月9日、全12回にわたるSaturday English Academyが無事終了しました！この日は前半にゲーム、そして後半はティーパーティー。みんなでお菓子を囲みながら、アカデミーの感想やこれからのことなどを（もちろん英語で！）先生と一緒に楽しそうに話をしていました。
担当教師Janeよりメッセージ
The YMCA Saturday Academy finished its Spring-Summer Course on Saturday 9th July. We celebrated by having a scrabble tournament (the girls in each class won!) and a small tea party!
Our A class students really made a lot of progress. We worked on personal information (asking/answering questions), numbers (dates/birthdays etc), interests (likes and dislikes) using it, them, him and her correctly, discussion about interests related to movies, TV, food and drink. We also covered abilities and talking about family. Along the way, we played some games, did an animal crossword and had some fun pronunciation practice! Oh, and we made self introductions which were shown on the website earlier!
Our B class were a group of lively boys! And Asako! We used topics such as music (talking about types of music and how it makes us feel, looking at rap music in the USA) movies (we discussed Friends, their characters, plot and then watched an episode stopping to predict what might happen).
In Youth Culture the students made a manga and discussed Computer games. In other classes, we made part of a newspaper and looked at foreign newspapers and magazines. We also looked at the Weather and Healthy Living.
The class was always fun and their was a good atmosphere. Every participated in the various activities, making self introductions was a lot of fun! Everyone was very original, especially Sohei!
春から夏にかけての「ＹＭＣＡサタデーアカデミー」が7月9日（土）に最終回を迎えました！最終日には、各コースで「スクラブル」という単語ゲームでトーナメントが行われました。（どちらのコースもガールズチームが勝利！）そして、最後にささやかなティーパーティーで幕を閉じました。
今回のサタデーアカデミーでは、レッスンの回を重ねるごとに皆さんの英語力が確実に上達していました。
Ａコースでは、自己紹介、日付の言い方、家族、it, them, him, herといった代名詞を正しく使って、自分自身や友達の関心のあるものを英語で表現する練習、またそれぞれ興味のある映画やテレビ番組、食べ物、飲み物についてディスカッションをしました。
いくつかゲームもしました。動物のクロスワードゲームや、楽しい発音練習も！
Ｂコースには元気な男の子たちとアサコがいました！このコースでは、音楽（どんなジャンルがあるか、またその音楽がどんな気分にしてくれるかについて話し合ったり、アメリカのラップミュージックを見たり）や、映画（「フレンズ」の登場人物や、セリフ、どんな展開になるかなど）をトピックとして取り上げました。
また若者文化を題材にした回では漫画を描いたり、コンピューターゲームについて話し合いました。またその他のクラスでは、外国の新聞や雑誌を見て自分たちでも新聞記事作りにトライしたり、天気予報や健康的生活といったハイレベルな題材にもチャレンジしました！
どのクラスもいつも楽しくて、とても良い雰囲気でした。いろいろなアクティビティーがありましたが、”making self introductions（インターネットで自己紹介）”は本当に楽しかったね！みんな、とても独創的でした。特にソウヘイ！
