Being a part of IHS (International High) is like being surrounded by a multicultural family. Everyone, as a student, teacher and staff, contributes to the well-being of each other. I believe we never stop learning and I want everyone to know: We learn from our students as much as they learn from us.
During my high school years I enjoyed traveling to different countries and talking to many people about their cultures and happiness.
In all my past and current positions I am fortunately enough to be able to work in an international environment. One of the best things about working in a multicultural environment is experiencing new cultures and customs by talking to my colleagues at work. I like to speak and study different languages and working at Osaka YMCA International High School gives me the opportunity to communicate with my students and with my colleagues in Japanese, English, German and sometimes even in Cantonese.
