水曜日には、デンマーク第3の都市オーデンセにデイトリップへ。
まず、自立型モバイルロボットを製造する企業を訪れました。このロボットは、病院や工場などで重いものを運搬する際に用いられているそうです。
オーデンセは、歴史的な街である一方で、世界を牽引するロボットの製造地点にもなってきているようです。生徒たちは、このロボットを動かす機会をいただき、楽しそうに操作していました。
午後には、デンマーク出身の童話作家アンデルセンの生家などを訪れ、街散策を楽しみました。
夜は、IHS生主催で日本文化を紹介する「カルチャーナイト」を開きました。この日のために、IHS生は日本にいるときからずっと準備をしてきました。歌ったり、ダンスをしたり、相撲をしたり…EISの生徒もとても楽しんでくれたようで、大成功でした！
We went to Odense on Wednesday, the third biggest cities in Denmark. First we visited MiR, a leading manufacturer of autonomous mobile robots.
These collaborative robots can carry and deliver heavy things and they are used in a variety of places like hospitals and industries. Odense is cosy and historical town but getting to become well-known for a world-leading centre for robotics. Students got some chances to operate those robots as well

In the afternoon, we strolled down the city of Odense -including world-famous author H.C. Andersen's house.
In the evening, IHS students hosted an event -Cultural Night, introducing Japanese culture. We've been preparing this program for a while and finally, we performed and entertained EIS students and staffs! We sang, danced, played sumo, and lots more. A huge success, very well done IHS students!
