留学中の生徒よりレポートが届きました Hi from Kelowna, Canada!

今年の8月からカナダのケロウナに留学をしている本校2年生の生徒より、留学レポートが届きました!

"Hi. I'm Reoka! I started to study abroad in Canada in August. So it has been about 3 months. I stayed in Vancouver for 1 month and went to language school, then I moved to Kelowna and I'll stay here until the end of June.

I go to a public high school now, my school has over 100 international students and over 1500 Canadian students. So I can communicate with not only local English speakers but also people who have various backgrounds. Canadian schools are kinda different from Japanese ones. I have 4 classes in a day and study only two subjects. For me, it's so hard because I have unit tests once every two weeks and also a lot of quizzes.

I'm living as one of Canadian family, so sometimes I feel it is so hard to live with other people. For example, I have to do housework by myself. But I also feel I'm developing as an adult. And I can experience real Canadian culture as one of the family. I think these things are one of my favorite parts of home stay.

I really enjoy life in Canada, of course, I miss my family, my friends, and Japanese food. But I feel I can improve my skills even English and also other skills, for example, communication, independence, and embracing diversity. See u soon!"
