Rotorua ReviewにYMCAの活動が取り上げられました

 今年のニュージーランドでの夏期英語/ボランティア研修が2010年9月8日付けの地元紙「Rotorua Review」と9月24日付けの「The Daily Post Weekender」に取り上げられました。

Japanese students help keep Rotorua Beautiful
DIGGING IN: Japanese students from Osaka YMCA International High School Joined international students of Joyn Paul College to take part in the recent Conserbation Week. The group visits Rotorua annually and helped plant 30 trees at the college last week. Seiko Ueno of Kickoff New Zealand, on deucational co-ordinator for Japanese students, said the group was in Rotorua to study English and New Zealand culture. She said some also joined Keep Rotorua Beautiful as volunteers to help pick up rubbish at the lake front.

Clean up: Students from Osaka YMCA International High School in Japan donned wet weather gear for their clean up of rubbish from the Lake Rotorua foreshore. During their stay they also planted trees at John Paul College and attended a reception hosted by Mayor Kevin Winters.
