*Science class:
Ding ding ding~ It's time for science class! But before we jump in, I have something important to share... Today is our final science class of the semester! Time has flown by so quickly!

During class, every student was focused on the lesson and worked hard on their notes. One student's orange pencil case and neatly organized notebook--with colorful highlights--showed real dedication.

When the teacher asked questions, the students were eager to answer, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. After class, most of the students gathered to discuss the homework or helped each other understand difficult topics. Some students stayed behind to ask the teacher questions, determined to figure things out and do well on the final exam.

The science class has not only taught students knowledge, but also the importance of observation, curiosity, and teamwork.

*Homestay:
As part of the Global Internship Program, a grade 2 student and her family participated in the homestay initiative. They generously provided housing and meals for me, creating a valuable opportunity for cross-cultural exchange and immersion in Japanese daily life.

The house I stayed in was a traditional Japanese-style home, which made the experience even more special and memorable for me. On the first day I arrived, her family even made a welcome cake for me! It was such a heartwarming surprise and made me feel truly cared for.

One thing that touched me was that the home mom can speak Mandarin, and her father can speak English. Their efforts to communicate made me feel comfortable and welcomed, like I was part of the family.

Every morning, the home mom prepared a delicious homemade breakfast, and sometimes she even packed a tasty lunch for me to bring to the YMCA.

I'm truly grateful for their warmth, kindness, and hospitality.
