Super Genki greetings from Milwaukee!

Hello, I'm Anji, I'm in 3rd grade in IHS. I've been studying in Milwaukee, Wisconsin since last summer. I will leave here and return to IHS in 2 months.

I live with my host parent and two cute dogs. My host parent is super nice!! I am really grateful for everything she does for me. I really think I'm such a lucky person that I could stay with her! She takes me many places where I'm interested, helps me study, talks with me about many things, and she is always interested in my culture. Also, I'm learning cooking right now!

Currently I go to a public high school in Milwaukee. There aren't that many foreign exchange students in my high school, but many students are interested in learning languages go there so I have many friends who are interested in my culture and language. I got to know many people from different cultures and I learned a little b it of Spanish, which is very interesting. I love my friends and teachers at school. I take two psychology classes here. It was my first time to study psychology, but now I'm so obsessed with learning about it!

When I left Japan, I remember I was crying in the train to the airport. I was very worried about many things and missed my family and friends. But now I'm about to cry because I don't want to leave here!! I really love being here (and eating American food). I'm really grateful for my family and host family for letting me experience every great experience in the US.
